Before going into the conference note, I have to mention about the good hospitality of the organizers in the international youth hostel.. that was really nice....
There was a pleasant surprise for the participants...... This is about the free acer emachines......

Finally the conference day 1 started with charming faces....

Dr. Zakir Thomas who delivered welcome note had given nice introduction about all the delegates.....

Key note addressed by Dr. Samir Bramachari, gave a nice explanation about this open source project... like, he had detailed the seriousness of the TB disease and its prevelance in India as well as all over the world and then practically what is the problem in drug discovery for Mtb..... On the whole, he have given a breif idea about what we people had done for the past 3 months... The point I have to highlight is that his speech was very inspirative.....

There was something special about Dr. Kitano's speech... starting from the garuda project platform, followed by cell designer informations, information about robustness in drug discovery, principles of drug designing and finally about ipathways in the ipod... ha really very informative!......

Really Open Source Drug Discovery (OSDD) provided an opportunity to the young minds to integrate their ideas without any individual benefit.... That was a great effort made by our Indian Scientists to serve for our human kind.... And, I am proud that I was one of the small contributor for this big mission.....
Finally, I want to indicate that if science is worked out for public access then there is no wonder that we are in the nature's path which is "peace".... I am sure of it...
